Katie's book, A Simple Seed teaches children and adults how to show gratitude in their daily lives through a morning journaling routine. The GMMS Salmon Brook Ecology Center was in the spotlight last night for the Granby BOE. GMMS Science teacher, Ann Buckley and students did an excellent job explaining the ecology center and the amazing learning that takes place. Students are highly engaged and hands-on with hydroponics and raising trout from eggs to mature size for release to our local streams.

To celebrate Valentine’s Day and Random Acts of Kindness Week, students at GMMS took the time to write heartfelt messages to staff members. Sorting through these messages and reading the kind words written to our teachers, office staff, nurses, custodians, support services members, cafeteria staff, and teaching assistants was the perfect way to end the day!
