Happy Thanksgiving to the entire Granby Public Schools community! Please click here to enjoy a special video message from our students.

Wells Road Intermediate School held a Grade Five Writing Celebration, where parents were invited to see the amazing work students have been doing during their journalism unit. Over the past few weeks, students researched and wrote their own articles, then had the chance to share their finished articles with their families. They did an outstanding job, and we’re incredibly proud of all their hard work!

We had an incredible Veterans Day at GMHS!
Our school was honored to host four different veteran panels — one for each grade level — giving every student the chance to ask questions and learn directly from those who’ve served.
Some of the thoughtful questions students asked included:
💬 “What does a typical day look like while serving?”
💬 “If you could share one lesson with this group of students, what would it be?”
💬 “Are there any specific moments or experiences that have stayed with you?”
Each group spent about an hour listening, learning, and gaining insight from real-life heroes. A huge thank you to all the veterans who shared their stories and wisdom with our students!

We are proud to recognize Dale Kittleson, Facilities Manager at Granby Memorial High School, as the Staff Person of the Year for 2025! Dale was honored at the Board of Education meeting on September 3, 2025.
Dale’s dedication ensures that classrooms are safe, hallways are welcoming, and that our school is ready for learning. He is the person working behind the scenes who makes everything possible, and our school community is thankful that he is a part of our team.
