Students with PJs

Wells Road Intermediate School once again participated in two programs this year to support children in need. On Thursday, December 10th, students donated $1 and wore their PJs to support CCMC PJ Day for the kids. We raised $577 which will go to CCMC for children in their care. In addition, on Friday, December 12th, students as well as community members who dropped off PJs to the school, tallied 157 pairs of new pajamas for children in need. The donation this year will go to a community  partner in Hartford, No One Left Unfed. This is the 11th year of the drive. This year's donations bring Wells Road to a total of 1,625 pairs of new PJs donated to many organizations in need in the surrounding communities. Thank you to all who helped us make these donations happen.
